RECYCLED METAL

Regalia is the only furniture manufacturer in Poland to use only recycled metal in its products. It would be easier to just buy ready metal elements, but we don’t take easy ways out. Instead, we find our metal elements on scrap yards or retrieve them from demolished farm houses, barns and granaries.  
Retrieved metal has to be cleaned thoroughly. The more pits, the more difficult the cleaning and the more unique the final effect is. Instead of sanding metal, we clean it by hand in order not to damage the original surface or scrap the patina. Once it is clean, we protect the metal with transparent impregnate or paint it to prevent it from rust once and for all. We do not make projects if old metal cannot be recycled.
